My case supports 4 120 mm fans.
Can i connect multiple fans to one header.
I have a gigabyte ga b250m ds3h which has only 1 system fan header 4 pin and of course 1 cpu fan header.
I read a few threads and i understood that i can connect two fans to one.
So the motherboard asus b85m gamer i chose has only one fan header.
In fact there are a number of ways to do so.
I should mention i am planning on using a fan hub to connect all the fans to power and run them with pwm control.

Basically the block you attach to the cpu has a pump installed this pump head is powered by connecting the sata capable and there s also what looks like a 3 pin female that appears to connect to a fan header the pump is also connected to your motherboard by an internal usb connection the pump head also has two places where you can.
As far as splicing power and gnd together as long as the current draw of the 2 combined isnt more than the mobo can handle you will be fine.
Which obviously isn t enough and the case i chose circle cc830 has 5 fans.

First if you know the power ratings of your fans and of your motherboard you may be able to use a splitter such as the rosewill case fan pwm cable splitter.
Also my mobo only has one 4 pin cpu fan header one 4 pin system fan header and one 3 pin system fan header.

To keep the headers safe and last longer and keep my mobo from frying.
Check the manual to see what current the fan header can give and compare it to the watt rating of the fans watts 12v amps.

Cooler master states that the fans are compatible with my motherboard without an rbg controller but how do i connect them all.
